SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY PANEL STATUS

I. Competency of the Scientific Advisory Panel

• The scientific advisory panel of The Science for Population Protection is an expert advisory body of the journal publisher.

II. Structure of the Scientific Advisory Panel

• The Scientific Advisory Panel is composed of individual members - renowned experts from within the national and international security community, prominent personalities and representatives of partner domestic and foreign research institutions.

• Position of a member of the Scientific Advisory Panel is un-substitutable.

• Members of the Scientific Advisory Panel are approved by the Scientific Council of the General Director of the Fire and Rescue Services upon the proposal of the Chairman of the Editorial Board.

• Membership in the Scientific Advisory Panel shall cease upon the member’s resignation.

III. Assignment of the Scientific Advisory Panel

• Comment on a developmental concept of the journal.

• Comment on the guidelines focus of the journal.

• Discuss essential editorial measures.

IV. Proceedings of the Scientific Advisory Panel

• The panel votes on a proposal adoption discussed during the performance of the tasks.

• A valid vote must be approved by a majority of at least half of all members of the panel.

• Panel discussions proceed by means of per rollam method.
